Report claims three first-team players could leave Tottenham this summer
claims that Tottenham will need to sell before they spend this summer and three first-team regulars could be in the firing line ahead of the transfer window.
Hugo Lloris, Serge Aurier and Erik Lamela have had doubts cast over their futures at the club; with Juan Foyth also looks set to leave the club on a permanent basis.
Tottenham lost 3-1 to Manchester United on Sunday. The defeat leaves them six points shy of fourth place with seven games of the season left to play.
As a result, their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League look pretty slim and they now face a battle to secure a place in next season’s Europa League.
Lloris and Aurier in particular have featured prominently under Jose Mourinho. Lamela has been used more as an impact substitute having been at the club since 2013.
The departure of Foyth might not be a massive loss. He’s spent the season on loan at Villarreal and in truth, he’s never really showcased the sort of talent to suggest he’s capable of being a Premier League regular.
If it means keeping the likes of Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Tanguy Ndombele, Tottenham fans will likely welcome the departure of their lesser players.

Whoever is in charge of Tottenham for next season must ensure the squad boasts more quality.
In the final third of the pitch, they’ve had no issues. Kane and Son have proved lethal and their link-up play is sublime.
At the back, however, changes must be made. Spurs have been haphazard for far too long and the distinct lack of a world-class enforcer is hampering the team.
Aurier and Lloris would be two departures that perhaps wouldn’t bother Spurs fans too much – likewise Foyth.
Lamela might be a tougher one to take. He does offer something a little bit different in the way of creativity and the player does give his all in every game.
Changes are necessary though and it looks like being a busy summer from a Tottenham perspective.
