Report claims Massimiliano Allegri turned down Chelsea twice
The coaching mentor of Massimiliano Allegri has claimed that he turned down the advances of Chelsea earlier in his career.
The incumbent is now back in place at Juventus following the sacking of Andrea Pirlo. It is also thought he turned down Manchester United, Arsenal and PSG.
Allegri has won six Serie A titles during his career; five with the Old Lady and one with AC Milan.

Now, according to his coaching mentor, Giovanni Galeona has claimed that Chelsea were once keen on him.
During his previous stint in Turin, several Premier League clubs were keen – including Chelsea.
The Blues have seen a pretty high turnover of managers in recent times. Currently, Thomas Tuchel is the man tasked with bringing the glory days to Stamford Bridge.
He recently lifted the Champions League and it looks like a decent appointment by Chelsea.
This latest news will get supporters wondering what might have been though.
Allegri is a world-class boss and ultimately he knows how to win league titles.
The proof in the pudding for Tuchel might come next year when ultimately he’ll be judged on Chelsea’s form in the top-flight.
Some quotes from Geleona do make interesting reading. : The last year that he was at Juventus, Allegri said no to five big offers. Chelsea tried twice in the space of 15 days and he always rejected every proposal.”
Allegri to Chelsea: One that got away
One thing the Italian boasts is loyalty and his allegiance to Juventus has never been in question.
Chelsea boss Tuchel has done good things in the first few months and Roman Abramovich must now back him.

The Blues might have found their own Allegri but it’s certainly interesting that Chelsea tried to appoint him.
He would have been a stunning appointment but in the Frenchman, Chelsea have landed a star attraction too.
Both Allegri and Tuchel will be under pressure to win league titles next season.
