Report claims it’s ‘highly unlikely’ £10m Everton player will be offered new Goodison deal
Everton are reportedly “highly unlikely” to offer Fabian Delph a new deal at Goodison Park.
Delph, who joined for from Manchester City two years ago, now has one year remaining on his contract.
According to , the Merseyside club don’t plan on giving the 31-year-old a contract extension.
In addition, it’s still “probable” Everton will listen to offers for him during this window. However, new Toffees boss Rafael Benitez is going to check him out in pre-season.
Delph has had an extremely impressive Premier League career so far, but it’s been an underwhelming couple of years with Everton.
The left-footed central midfielder has just 24 appearances in two years, so it’s not a surprise they don’t have plans to keep him around.

Fabian Delph leaving Everton makes sense this summer
Aged 31, Delph should still feel he’s got a lot to offer.
The ex-England international is a two-time Premier League champion from his time at the Etihad Stadium, which is why he should still be an attractive option for some clubs.
However, it’s not worked out for him at Goodison.
Benitez’s arrival at Everton should see him build a new-look squad in his image, so it would be great for him to get rid of the fringe figures on bigger wages. It’s no surprise the man doesn’t have a long-term future where he is.
