Report claims dilemma for Liverpool in race to sign Jadon Sancho
A report by the has claimed that Liverpool have a major roadblock in their quest to sign Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho this summer.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move for the star but such a valuation could put them off making their advances.
The Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is a massive fan of Sancho but in the short-term at least he would only be viewed as a squad player.

It is claimed that such an eye-watering sum would deter Liverpool from making their move.
Klopp has Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah on the flanks and they have proved two of the best wide forwards in world football during the last couple of seasons.
Sancho has been brilliant for Dortmund during 2019/20. He has scored 17 goals and registered 19 assists during his 35 games for the club.
At 20 his potential is frankly ridiculous and whoever does lure him away from the Bundesliga would get themselves a tremendous player.
Liverpool’s need isn’t quite as great as some other clubs though and if they don’t sign him this summer they run the risk of missing out.
With the like of Chelsea and Manchester United also cited as being interested, Liverpool face a big decision.
Quality
Liverpool’s dominance in the last couple of seasons will make attracting players to Anfield relatively easy.
What Klopp won’t want to do, however, is just stockpile players for the sake of doing so.

If he doesn’t view Sancho as being value for money then he shouldn’t sign him; although the evidence suggests he’d be making a mistake.
The valuation of £120 million sounds a lot but given that his career is still in its early stages, it’d be an investment in the future.
With 31 goals and 42 assists in 90 appearances for Dortmund, he’d be worth the risk.
He’d relish the challenge of winning a place in Klopp’s team whilst his presence would ensure the team’s current attackers stayed on their toes.
