Report: Chelsea left dumbfounded by £83,000-a-week player loved by Tuchel
Chelsea have been left shellshocked by the agent of Andreas Christensen as they look to tie the Dane to a new deal.
the player’s representatives have asked to change the terms of the contract.
Christensen has already been offered a new deal but now it seems there are some concerns at the eleventh hour.
Chelsea thought they’d tempted their international defender into extending his Stamford Bridge stay.

A five-year agreement had been reached but it would seem as though Christensen’s agent wants that changing to a three-year deal.
The 25-year-old will be free to speak with other clubs in January with his current deal due to expire in the summer.
Thomas Tuchel has made him a mainstay since he arrived at the club and is desperate to keep him around.
Christensen arrived at Chelsea from Brondby in 2012. He has worked his way through the ranks and made 140 appearances for the Blues.
The man with 52 caps for Denmark helped Chelsea win the Champions League last season and he’s an important player.
Now, it seems as though Tuchel may be powerless with the player’s agent playing hardball over a new deal.
Talent: Chelsea have to pull out the stops for Christensen
The defender has to be kept at Stamford Bridge and losing him could be seriously detrimental for Chelsea.
Christensen has been a big player for the team since Tuchel came into the club.

Losing him and Antoni Rudiger in the same summer would be almost impossible to replace and the club has to act.
Christensen has years left ahead of him and Chelsea must ensure they accept the demands that he wants.
At this stage, losing him to a European rival is simply unthinkable for the Blues.
