Report: Big change in Aouar situation that will be music to Arsenal fans’ ears
Arsenal may have just been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of Houssem Aouar.
The Gunners have been linked with the Lyon midfielder for a long time now.
According to a report in from earlier this month, Arsenal are still interested in Aouar.

Indeed, the report claimed that the Gunners may have even have enquired about taking the 23-year-old out on loan.
This might have seemed ludicrous last year, when Lyon played hardball over Aouar’s signature and reportedly wanted around £43million for him.
But now, that’s no longer the case, if one report is anything to go by.
According to , Lyon are now willing to sell Aouar this summer.
However, the outlet claims that interest in the Frenchman “has dried up entirely” this off-season.

And as a result, Lyon might even be willing to strike a loan deal with an obligation to buy.
RMC – – reported last week that boss Peter Bosz and sporting director Juninho had included Aouar on a list of players they would be keen to sell.
This is apparently due to “their poor attitude” following the loss to Angers last weekend.
Arsenal to finally land one of their long-term targets on a loan-to-buy deal? That’s surely music to Gunners fans’ ears.
Romano: Arsenal “still interested” in Aouar – but Spurs also in race
Fabrizio Romano also claimed last week on that Arsenal are still eyeing Aouar.
This is despite the Gunners signing Martin Odegaard and also having Emile Smith Rowe in their ranks.

However, Romano also acknowledged that Arsenal’s bitter rivals Spurs are now also in the race.
“It is a complicated situation on agent’s side,” said the esteemed journalist.
“And that’s why I would keep an eye on Aouar till the last day of the window because now still some rumours we have with Tottenham and with Arsenal.
“These two clubs are really interested in Aouar.
“Arsenal as you know so well they wanted him and they are still keeping an eye on his situation.
“But it is now important for Arsenal to sell players.”
