Report: Championship side to charge £20m for Arsenal and Manchester United-linked giant
that Swansea City will demand £20million for impressive centre-back Joe Rodon this summer, amid reported interest from both Arsenal and Manchester United.
Wales international Rodon, 22, broke into the Swansea side last season and has been first choice this time around – clocking up 21 Championship appearances. He missed 15 games between October and January due to a long-term ankle problem.
However, Rodon is fit again and has continued to attract attention from the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and other Premier League heavyweights. Wales Online claim Manchester United and Manchester City are interested.
previously claimed that Arsenal, Everton, Leicester City and Chelsea have also been watching Rodon, as he continues to shine at centre-back. He has a contract until the summer of 2022 at the Liberty Stadium.

TBR’s view – Rodon would be an excellent signing at a bargain £20m
Yes, he has little experience and only has 49 senior appearances for Swansea but Rodon has already shown in those limited outings that he is one of the best central defenders at Championship level.
Plenty of players have shown they can shine in the Premier League and for the biggest clubs in England’s top tier, having played in the Championship the previous season. Dan James, Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham, Dean Henderson, to name a few.
Rodon is another exmaple of that and at just 22 years of age, £20million is a bargain.
