Report: Championship side enquire for Leeds talent; Bielsa gave him just 179 minutes last season
Championship side Bournemouth are reportedly keen on signing Leeds United talent Leif Davis on loan ahead of next season.
, the Cherries are eager to sign in the left-back. Davis struggled for first-team minutes over the past two seasons under Marcelo Bielsa.
The summer signing of Junior Firpo could limit Davis’ playing time next campaign. And Leeds might be open to letting the 21-year-old leave on loan to gain first-team minutes.

The former Morcombe defender played just 179 first-team minutes last season for Leeds as stats from show.
And a season away on loan could be what’s needed to kick-start his development with the Yorkshire club.
With Stuart Dallas filling in at left-back on some occasions last season for Leeds, Davis played just four appearances last campaign, only two of which came in the Premier League.

However, the club are making the right decision in allowing the Newcastle-born defender to leave on loan ahead of next season. Especially with Firpo signed to replace the departed Ezgjan Alioski.
The 21-year-old defender needs regular first-team football if he is to develop as a player.
And playing under Scott Parker at Bournemouth could be a great step in the right direction for the Davis, who has only made 14 appearances for Leeds in his career.
