The Dutchm𒈔an is yet to feature🗹 since Conte was appointed. He was left on the bench against Everton and Leeds. And he was not set to start the ill-fated clash at Burnley on Sunday either.

Of course, it appears to be too soon to write the 24-year-old off comple꧟tely. But the early signs do appear to be slightly ominous.

He had previously struggled to stamp his authority on✤ a position in the side under bot🦩h Jose Mourinho and Nuno Espirito Santo.

With that in mind, it would probably not be the biggest surprise if he did end up leaving in some capacity in on▨e of the upcoming windows.

And it appears that one of the tea❀ms planning to 🐷make a move in January is Ajax. that they are set to ask about the forward in the winter.

Tottenham have to let Bergwijn go if Conte has no plans for him

It is potentially a gamble to let Bergwijn go. He scored 31 goals and contributed 41 assists during his time with PSV Eindhoven. So he clearꦡly has the potential to be an outstanding signing for Ajax should he return to the Eredivisie.

But Con🥀te has a clear style. And no Spurs bꦑoss in recent times will have had greater belief in their own style than Conte.

So if the Tottenham🔴 boss has no plans♈ for Bergwijn, it makes little sense to keep him.

Of cꦍourse, Ajax may struggle to offer Spurs😼 the kind of sum that would convince them to sell Bergwijn permanently. .

He ﷽is also on £73,000-a-week, . So a loan move may not come cheap either.

But his value is onl🌼y going to continue dr🙈opping should he remain on the periphery. So perhaps a loan would make sense as it would put Bergwijn in the shop window for the big-spenders ahead of the summer.
