Report: Champions League club to make bid for 25-year-old Rangers star next week; Gers’ stance shared
One Rangers player is set to be offered the chance to leave Ibrox for a potential Champions League rival next week, that the Gers are about to receive an eight-figure bid.
It will surprise no Rangers supporters to see Alfredo Morelos linked with a move away from the Scottish Premiership champions.

The Colombian seems to have been on the verge of moving on in almost every window since he arrived for £1 million in 2017.
And it now appears that Porto are set to test Steven Gerrard’s resolve to keep the 25-year-old.
, the Portuguese side plan to make a £10 million bid for the forward.

However, that looks set to fall well short of what the Light Blues are looking for.
The report claims that Rangers want a fee of around £15 million to £20 million.
So perhaps it should come as little shock if Rangers swiftly reject the incoming offer.
Rangers should look to get one more season out of Morelos amid Porto bid reports
Admittedly, Rangers may not be in the strongest position to keep Morelos. that his contract at Ibrox expires in two years.
So his value may not increase much from here unless he pens an extension.
Having said that, surely Rangers must be tempted to try and get one more year out of Morelos before potentially letting him go.
The Gers are two ties away from reaching the group-stages of the Champions League themselves.
And while Gerrard has several exciting attacking options, there is surely no question that Rangers’s hopes of reaching the group-stages will be boosted if Morelos is leading the line.
Morelos boasts an outstanding record in Europe.
You could understand if Rangers do sanction a sale should a club offer £20 million. But perhaps, keeping him while Gerrard’s side continue to scale new heights would be the smartest option.
