Neil Lennon’s men drew 2-2 with Hibernian on Saturday, slipping 11 points behind their rivals Rangers in a quest to claim a tenth successive league title.

With that in mind, the boss clearly wants to give his Celtic ranks a lift in January and feels Dembele is the man to do just that.

Wolves are yet to really got going this season and Nuno Espirito Santo might want to give his side a boost too.

The Rams will be among a host of Championship admirers, although their league position could count against them at the moment.

In total, Dembele has scored 18 goals and registered 20 assists during his 90 appearances for the Posh, showcasing the versatility to play through the middle or out wide.

Celtic have really struggled to be at their prolific best this season and need a lift from somewhere – and quickly.

Dembele is relatively raw and hasn’t yet featured at any level higher than League One.
