Celtic are keen to make another move for David Turnbull in the January transfer window, .
Turnbull was strongly linked with Celtic in the summer. But an injury robbed him of his chance to make a move to Glasgow. He is still sidelined and will only make his return in January.
This has not put Neil Lennon off. The Celtic manager is a big fan of Turnbull and wants him at Parkhead. The Bhoys will rekindle their £3.25m interest in the Motherwell midfielder.

Turnbull plays in central midfield and he exhibited his attacking prowess in the Scottish Premiership last season. With 15 goals and seven assists in 34 games, Turnbull justified Celtic’s interest.
The 20-year-old is a highly-rated young player who Lennon sees as a future star at Celtic. When he recovers from his knee injury – which required surgery – in January, Celtic will be waiting and lining up another swoop.
TBR’s view
Turnbull is one of the most exciting young talents in the Scottish top-flight. It will be interesting to see how the Scotland U21 starlet bounces back from his knee injury.
Celtic believe Turnbull can become a regular fixture in the first-team. If he can replicate his Motherwell form in Green and White Hoops, then he could quickly become a fan favourite at Celtic Park.
