Boey would be a fantastic addition to Celtic after bid

Boey would be a great addition to Celtic amid reports of a bid for the youngster.

His price and age make him an effective signing for Postecoglou’s men, especially in their current situation.

The Australian currently has just one right-back heading into the new season. Jonjoe Kenny’s loan spell from Everton has expired, and he’s returned to Merseyside.

Meanwhile, Kristoffer Ajer, who also played on the right could also be headed for the exit door.

In the Frenchman, Celtic are targeting a defensive monster. averaged more tackles and interceptions than any other player.

But, the club will need to help him out in the attacking third, where the young ace only registered one assist. Football has changed in recent years, making fullbacks key parts of most teams.

Desperation has led Celtic to Boey, however, they could be about to secure a bargain if they complete a £1m deal.
