Report: Celtic open talks to sign Sheffield Wednesday’s Liam Shaw
Celtic have now opened talks to sign Sheffield Wednesday midfielder, Liam Shaw, according to a fresh report from the .
The report states that Celtic are in talks with Shaw as they look to sign him. However, it is also claimed that Shaw has an offer on the table from Wednesday and has, as yet, not made his mind up.

Shaw has been impressing in S6 this season thanks to a run of games in the first-team. One of few youngsters to emerge in recent times at Hillsborough, Owls fans are understandably excited about Shaw.
But his contract isn’t yet sorted and Celtic are looking to pounce it seems. The 19-year-old can play both in midfield and defence and is seen as one of the Championship’s outstanding young talents.
The Owls will be desperate to keep Shaw. However, Celtic could prove an attractive proposition for the youngster. Wednesday would, of course, be due some compensation if the move happens.
TBR View: Shaw a fine young player, Celtic have a bargain here if it happens
Shaw has been brilliant for the Owls since breaking into the team so it’s little surprise to see the big clubs sniffing.
Celtic would be getting a player who has it all. He can go box to box, he’s got great energy, and he uses the ball well. For Wednesday fans, they’d be gutted to lose such a talent.
But from a Celtic point of view, it would be a some coup to land one of the Championship’s top young players.
