Celtic are keen on the 28-year-old defender .

As per the Sheffield Star, Postecoglou believes Baldock could be tempted by the prospect of challenging for trophies with Celtic as well as competing in Europe. Retaining his status as a top-flight footballer could also be an appealing factor for the Blades right-back.

Celtic are keen to sign a right-sided fullback this summer. Jeremie Frimpong left the club in January to sign for Bayer Leverkusen. Whilst Hatem Abd Elhamed has returned to Hapoel Be’er Sheva. Moreover, this leaves just Anthony Ralston in the Hoops squad who can play the position.

Celtic project is too good to turn down for Baldock

With Sheffield United back in the Championship, Baldock should be weighing up his options this summer. With Chris Wilder now gone, the defender might want to try something new next season.

And the prospect of playing for Baldock under Postecoglou is too good an opportunity to turn down. Indeed, there is a sense of excitement around the Australian manager and what he can bring to the Scottish giants.

With Celtic needing a right-back and the Hoops competing in Europe, Baldock will be crazy to turn down such a project. And although there is a chance the defender could play a role in the Blades returning to the heights of the Premier League, a new environment could be what the 28-year-old fullback needs at this stage in his career.
