Report: Carlos Vinicius set for new contract amid Liverpool links
Liverpool could now have to pay a whopping €120m if they wish to land reported target, Carlos Vinicius.
According to a report from Portuguese outlet, , Benfica are set to hand the Brazilian a new deal.

And that new deal is set to contain a new release clause for Vinicius which would see Liverpool have to pay in excess of £100m if they wish to land the 25-year-old.
The Reds were linked with the Brazilian back in February, with that Liverpool had already sent scouts over to Benfica to watch him.
However, news of a new deal for Vinicius could well force the Reds to re-evaluate their transfer plans.
Vinicius has scored 15 times this season in the Portuguese league, adding a further five across other competitions.

Liverpool are expected to strengthen again this summer. The club has been continuously with a move for German striker, Timo Werner.
It would, then, be highly unlikely to see the Reds move for both Werner and Vinicius. Furthermore, if Vinicius does pen this new deal, it would surely put him out of Liverpool’s reach.

Liverpool would need to carefully consider this one. After all, this is a player who has only just burst onto the scene this season after a quiet few years.
It would make sense if the Reds had moved for him previously and paid less. However, there’s no way they’ll go paying the £100m or so Benfica seem to be commanding now.
Jurgen Klopp and the Liverpool board are no fools. They won’t simply splash the cash on anyone, not least a player who has had one good season in the Portuguese league.
There are other options out there – including Werner – that could be better suited. If Vinicius does sign this new deal, then Liverpool might be best just walking away.
