Report: Cagliari want Tottenham left-back Danny Rose
Cagliari are considering a move to sign Danny Rose from Tottenham Hotspur this summer, .
Rose’s future looks set to lie away from Spurs. The left-back spent the latter half of last season on loan at Newcastle United.

His time on Tyneside was mixed. And, so far, there has seemingly been little indication that he could make any sort of return to St James’ Park for the coming campaign.
Instead, it appears that Rose could end up in Italy. , Cagliari are weighing up whether they want to pursue a move for the England international.

It is not clear whether they would want to sign Rose on loan or on a permanent basis. But it would certainly be a safe bet to assume that Spurs would welcome the chance to offload the defender permanently.
Rose earns £60,000-a-week, . So it would be a boost to move his wages off the bill if he is not in Jose Mourinho’s plans.
And Rose may perhaps welcome the chance to make a fresh start. His career seems to have stagnated in the last couple of years, so playing in a new league may appeal.
that Rose is open to moving abroad with a move to another Premier League club looking unlikely.
The likes of Chris Smalling and Ashley Young impressed in Italy last season. So while it remains to be seen whether he would be open to joining Cagliari specifically, a move to Serie A may make a lot of sense.
