Report: Burnley to make £2.6million bid for Leeds goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell
Burnley are reportedly interested in a move for Leeds United goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell.
, Premier League outfit Burnley are se too make a £2.6million bid for the shot-stopper.
It is understood that the Clarets are set to lose Tom Heaton to Aston Villa after an £8million offer was accepted.
The report details that Burnley manager Sean Dyche is a “big fan” of Peacock-Farrell and want him to compete for a number one spot at Turf Moor.
Peacock-Farrell is believed to be “frustrated” after losing his spot to Leeds teammate Kiko Casilla last season and may be temped to move on.
The Northern Ireland international has been frequently linked with Burnley this summer, but reports that they expect him to remain at Elland Road this season.

TBR’s View:
Conflicting reports have emerged about Peacock-Farrell this summer and it’s unclear on where he will be playing his football in the new season.
It looks unlikely that he can force his way ahead of Casilla in the immediate future, so a move away could potentially be an attractive option.
But the Yorkshire club should knock back a £2.6million bid for him if it arrives from Burnley and put a bigger price tag on him.
He’s someone with brilliant potential to develop and Premier League interest suggests it.
Peacock-Farrell has great reflexes and can play out from the back well, but needs to improve when it comes to controlling his penalty area.
