But since then, the Italy international has failed to score in 13 matches. Kean is starting to divide the fanbase. Some Everton supporters are calling for him to be given more time to show his worth but others are growing impatient, given his price tag.

The 19-year-old scored eight times for Juve’s senior team before moving to Everton. Now, he could return to his homeland to play Serie A football. It remains to be seen whether Everton would sanction this.

TBR’s view

Kean has had a few problems since joining Everton. He has been a bit slow adjusting to English football and there have been reports of a few time-keeping issues.

If he applies himself, the teenager could become a top talent for the Toffees. Everton’s new manager will need to decide whether to use him or to let him spend half a season getting games under his belt.
