Report bizarrely hints 25-year-old Leeds star could go; Real Madrid now watching him after latest display
Real Madrid plan to monitor Kalvin Phillips following the Leeds United star’s outstanding display against Luka Modric for England in their Euro 2020 opener on Sunday, .
Phillips stole the show for many as the Three Lions beat Croatia at Wembley. It was his pass that set up Raheem Sterling for the only goal during the second-half.

Fans, teammates and legendary players all lauded Phillips’s display following the win.
And it appears that clubs have also sat up and taken notice of the 25-year-old.
, Real Madrid now plan to follow Phillips throughout the tournament.

It is noted that Carlo Ancelotti wants to improve his midfield options this summer.
Real Madrid may admire Kalvin Phillips, but report makes bizarre claims
It would be little surprise if Phillips was a player on the radar of a number of the world’s biggest clubs.
While it felt as though he proved a point on Sunday, Leeds fans will argue that he has been the fulcrum of their side ever since Marcelo Bielsa arrived.
He has stepped up every time a new challenge has been put in front of him.
So perhaps, Real Madrid are indeed taking a little look at the Leeds man. But it must be noted that the report goes on to make a couple of bizarre claims.
According to Defensa Central, it would be no surprise if Phillips was not at Leeds next season.
But in reality, there is surely virtually no fee that the Whites would accept for the midfielder.
Defensa Central however, also suggest that Phillips had a market value of £25.8 million before Euro 2020.
However, Leeds reportedly rejected bids of over £20 million for the academy graduate back in 2019.
At the time, the Whites were a Championship side. They have since sealed promotion and shone in the Premier League.
Phillips has been at the heart of their success. So Leeds would probably find the idea of selling for anything like £26 million simply laughable.
