Report: Besiktas want Reiss Nelson on loan, Arsenal want to keep 20-year-old for next season
Turkish giants Besiktas have made an approach to sign Arsenal flyer Reiss Nelson on loan for next season,
A winger is thought to be high on the list of targets for Sergen Yalcin, with Nelson interesting the Black Eagles.
Besiktas are somewhat strapped for cash and could offload a number of their current star players.

The report does suggest that Arsenal will reject any advance for Nelson with Mikel Arteta viewing him as an important player for next season.
A product of the Gunners youth ranks, the 20-year-old made 24 appearances last season, scoring the winner in a recent victory over Liverpool.
Arteta has shown a willingness to utilise the club’s younger players and that should bode well for Nelson next season.
One aspect that could swing the door open for Besiktas is what incoming business Arsenal can complete during the window.
A few wingers have been linked to the Emirates Stadium and any arrivals might see some players sold.
With that in mind, the Turkish club might keep their interest alive at least until the transfer window slams shut.
Nelson has already been out on loan. During the 2018/19 campaign, he went to Hoffenheim where the winger scored seven goals in 29 appearances.
TBR View Nelson will have no shortage of suitors but Arsenal wise to persist
The youngster has clearly relished the opportunity given to him by Arteta this season.

Nelson has perhaps struggled for regular starts but at 20 time is definitely on his side.
Heading to Besiktas doesn’t seem logical and he’s arguably better than the Turkish league anyway.
Nelson will probably earn more opportunities next season and he’d be wise to sit tight at the Emirates for now.
