Report: Barcelona and Ronald Koeman eye move for Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum
Liverpool could face a fight to keep hold of midfielder, Gini Wijnaldum, as Barcelona and new manager, Ronald Koeman, eye up a potential move for the Dutchman.
News outlet claims that Koeman is keeping tabs on Wijnaldum’s situation in Liverpool, with the report even claiming Koeman has told the Reds midfielder to not sign a new deal.

Wijnaldum is into the final year of his contract with Liverpool and has, as yet, failed to agree to terms on a fresh deal.
The Dutchman has been an integral part of the squad for Jurgen Klopp, being one of the driving forces from midfield as the Reds romped to Premier League glory last term.
Since signing from Newcastle, the 29-year-old has worked hard to establish himself as a key, if unspectacular, member of the Liverpool squad.

Koeman is a big fan of Wijnaldum, having managed him for the Dutch national side. Having taken over the reins at the Camp Nou, there is every chance the former Everton boss will swoop for a number of players from the Netherlands squad.
