Report: Atletico Madrid interested in Tottenham star Christian Eriksen
on his personal website that Atletico Madrid have joined Real Madrid in the race for Tottenhꦇam Hotspur st🍌ar Christian Eriksen.
Eriksen, 27, has spent six years at Tottenham since joining the club in 2013, and in that time has developed the re🧜putation of being one of the best attacking midfielders in world football.
In 277 outings for Spurs, he has scored 66 times – a ratio of around one goal every four matches – and has laid on 86ඣ assists, which is almost an assist every three games. But he has now entered the final 12 months of his contract.
Real have been strongly lꦚinked for the 89-time Denmark cap, but now Diego Simeone’s side are keen to bring in Eriksen after selling Antoine Griezmann to Barcelona. The French ace needs replacing, and they want Eriksen.

It remains to be seen﷽ if Eriksen will indeed leave the north London club this summer, with suitors yet to make a move for the▨ ex-Ajax star. But with Atletico now keen, talks could ramp up.
TBR’s view – Atletico a solid move for Eriksen
Real Madrid’s Galacticos have strengthened well this summer, adding exuberance and youthfulness ꧂to an ageing, tired squad. Zinedine Zidane has brought in the likes of Eden Hazard, Luke Jovic and Eder Militao.
Though an unbelievably good player, Eriksen shines at Spurs because he is one of the best in his♊ side. At Real, he would be lost among a quagmire of extraordinaryꦫ talent and calibre of players.
The likes 🙈of Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and more prove somewhat intimidating. He may not even be g♍uaranteed a start. But at Atleti, Eriksen would become the main man – replacing Griezmann.
