Report: Atletico Madrid enter race for Tottenham target Lo Celso

According to , Atletico Madrid are considering launching a move to sign Tottenham Hotspur target Giovani Lo Celso. The Spanish club have taken an interest in 🏅the Argentine following Real Madrid’s decision to keep James Rodriguez, as reported by .

Spurs have been throughout the summer. Estadio Deportivo claim that White Hart Lane, and the Premier League, is still the 23-year-old’s preferred destinatio💮n. However, if Atletico Madri꧅d are serious about signing the midfielder then they could make it very tricky for Mauricio Pochettino and Daniel Levy to get a deal over the line.

Spurs cannot afford to wait any longer. They must act fast to ensure that they don’t miss out on the 18-cap Argentina international. Lo Celso would be a fine addition to Pochettino’s squad. He has all of the attributes needed to flourish in the Premier League. If Spurs fail to secure his services this summer then they will almost certainly come to regret it. 

Lo Celso himself also has a big decision to make. The north London club offer him the chance to prove his worth in the Premier League. Atletico Madrid, meanwhile, can offer him the chance to stay in Spain and compete for the La Liga title.
