Atalanta have made a bid for Tottenham-linked defender Takehiro Tomiyasu, according to .

The two clubs have been linked with the Japan international over the last week. Both clubs are in talks with Bologna over a transfer for the ace.

However, the Lilywhites have the edge over their rivals. The right-back is open to a move to the Premier League, according to reports.
