Report: Aston Villa winger Anwar El Ghazi wanted by Olympiacos
Aston Villa winger Anwar El Ghazi has reportedly emerged as a target for Greek giants Olympiacos.
, the club are in the market for a wide player, with Fenerbahce’s Garry Rodrigues and Southampton’s Sofiane Boufal also targets.
The publication point out that Villa recently signed Bertrand Traore from Lyon, and that there is further competition for minutes for El Ghazi on the wings from the likes of Jack Grealish and Trezeguet.
There has also been talk of Milot Rashica and Ismaila Sarr coming to Villa Park before the October 5 deadline.
Supposedly, Olympiacos would try to sign El Ghazi on loan if they were to make a move for the 25-year-old.
The two-cap Dutch international has been with Villa since the summer of 2018, when he joined initially on loan from Lille. The move was turned permanent last summer.

Villa shouldn’t be considering letting El Ghazi leave the club on loan.
He didn’t have the best season in 2019/20, but could potentially do much better this term now that he has a feel for the top-flight.
There is a player in there, as was evident during his time in the Championship.
It is important for Villa to have good depth, and £31,000-a-week star El Ghazi () would still feature plenty this season, especially with Grealish’s other position being central.
