Report: Aston Villa to allow player competing at Euro 2020 to leave this summer on one condition
Aston Villa will reportedly🅠 allow Lovre Kalinic to leave the club this summer if a third-choice goalkeeper can be signed.
, the 31-🌱year-old shꦐot-stopper will be granted permission to depart the Villains if the club can find a keeper to replace him.

Kalinic is yet to return to the club following his invol🧸vement for Croatia at Euro 2020. Along with John McGinn, the duo have are on extendꦺed leave from pre-season to fully recover.
The shot-stopper spent last season with Croatian 🍸side Hadjuk Split, where Kalinic 𓆉became captain of the club in a successful loan spell.
With Tom Heaton departing for Manchester United, though, Villa need a third-choice keeper with Ka𒁏linic surplus to requirements.

Kalinic joined Villa in January 2019. However, three poor performances in his first💦 few games for the club doomed the Croatian keeper with the Midlands club. The former Gent star has only ever made eight appearancesℱ for Dean Smith’s side.
With Emi Martinez the established number one at🃏 Villa and Jed Steer a solid backup to the Argentina international, Kalinic is almost certain to leave the club for good this summer.
As to who the club will sign to replace the Croat is another question. With Villa stocked for homegrown players and Martinez one of the best keepers in the Premier League, Smith could look in the free-agent pool or promꦓote a youngster from the academy to fill out the role for next seℱason.
