Report: Aston Villa have already received four offers for 25-year-old

Aston Villa have already received four offers for Wesley Moraes ahead of the January transfer window, that Club Brugge do not plan to stand in the striker’s way of leaving.

Wesley returned to the Belgian club in the summer after a nightmare spell at Villa Park. However, his time with Philippe Clement’s men has been just as frustrating.

The 25-year-old has featured seven times in all competitions without scoring. HLN notes that Clement believes that he has not been fit enough to play more often.

Interestingly, he featured in both Champions League ties with RB Leipzig in the group also including Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain. But he has not made the last three match day squads in the top-flight.

It appears that he is set to be on the move next month. But a return to the Villans is probably not going to be on the cards.

that four Brazilian sides have made offers to take Wesley in some capacity. Palmeiras are showing the strongest interest, and want to take the striker on loan for a year with talks already underway. Meanwhile, Flamengo, Sao Paulo, and Internacional have also made offers.

Unsurprisingly, Club Brugge are happy to let Wesley leave. It is suggested that he will ‘almost certainly’ return to Brazil.

Aston Villa will welcome any move that boosts hopes of receiving fee for Wesley

Villa have probably given up all hope of getting anything like the money they paid for Wesley. They reportedly spent following his impressive spell in Belgium.

Injury ruined his time in England. And it is ominous that a return to familiar surroundings in the shape of his former club has done little for his fortunes.

. So his next move could be important if he leaves on loan again. His value is pretty low right now. So it makes sense for Villa to let him head elsewhere in the hope that he can finally get his career back on track.
