Report: Aston Villa coach John Terry could be contender for West Brom
Aston Villa assistant John Terry could be a contender for the West Brom post, .
The Baggies are searching for their next manager after it was announced on Wednesday that Sam Allardyce will leave the club once the campaign concludes.

Allardyce was unable to lead West Brom to safety. So the incoming boss will be tasked with trying to get the Baggies back out of the Championship at the first time of asking.
A number of names are already on the club’s radar. The Telegraph reports that Chris Wilder is set to holds talks over the Hawthorns gig.
Meanwhile, it is also claimed that there is interest in Michael Appleton.

But interestingly, that Terry could be a contender for the role. His brother is already at West Brom as the club’s loans manager.
TBR View: Terry appointment would be gamble from West Brom
It is noted that the £700,000 compensation fee required to appoint Appleton makes him an outside contender for the position.
So the fact that Terry is in a job and thus, may also command a fee, would perhaps hint that he is also only in with an outside chance of getting the role.
Wilder is clearly the safest pair of hands of the three, on paper. Of course, his time at Sheffield United ended in hugely disappointing fashion.
But he did an incredible job for much of his tenure at Bramall Lane. And crucially, he won promotion out of the second tier.
Terry meanwhile, is waiting for his first opportunity as a number one. So it would potentially be a major gamble for the Baggies to lure him away from Villa.
