Report: Aston Villa battling Charlton and QPR for Brentford B midfielder Jaden Brissett
Brentford midfielder Jaden Brissett is a wanted man.
, Aston Villa, Charlton Athletic and Queens Park Rangers are all pondering moves for Brissett. He is out of contract at the end of this season so he might be considering his options.
Brissett currently plays for Brentford B, who only play in friendly matches against other clubs, rather than in a league. He has caught the eye with his performances, scoring 12 goals and providing nine assists in just 18 matches from attacking midfield.

In January 2018, Brissett left Norwich City. He turned down a contract with the Canaries to move to Brentford. But he has only played games for the B team and he recently played three times on loan with National League outfit Maidenhead United.
He is considering his options again with his 18-month contract coming to an end in summer 2020. Premier League side Aston Villa could be set for a battle with London pair Charlton and QPR (who both play in the Championship) for the teenager.
TBR’s view
Brissett needs to be thinking about joining a club that will give him first-team games. Brentford have a host of exciting attacking midfielders so his route to the first-team has been blocked.
At Aston Villa, Brissett would probably join the academy or head out on loan. At QPR or Charlton, though, he might be pushing for a first-team spot.
