Report: Arteta will use back-four for Arsenal this weekend

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will reverꦛt to a back-four against Norwich City this weekend, according to .

The Spaniard went to a💛 back-three with wing-backs against Manchester City as he looked to stifle the Citizens.

It did not work in t🌜he slightest, with Pep Guardiola’s men thumping the 💛Gunners 5-0.

Calum Chambers, Rob Holding and Sead Kolasinac were the men Arteta opted for as his three centre-halves, with Cedric Soares and Kieran Ti🍌erney as wing-back🌄s.

However, the north Londoners have received a signific▨ant boost during the i𒐪nternational break.

Both Gabriel Magalhaes and Ben White have returned from their respective i🌟njuries and are in contention. Meanwhile, Takehiro Tomiyasu could get a call up if Arteta decides not to turn to the out-of-form Cedric Soares and Chambers.

Arteta needs to stick to a back-four

Over the course of Arteta’s reign in north London, there has bee♈n no consistency.

🌸There seems to be a change to Arsenal’s starting XI♏ almost every week, with the Spaniard chopping and changing at will.

The lack of sta🐠bility can be attributed to the side’s struggles this season.

Take right-back for example. Chambers started versus the Bees, but struggl𝔍ed massively.

As a result, ꧙he was dropped from right-back for the Chelsea and Manchester City outings. But his replacement, Soares, also failed, so the question is: Who does Arteta start against the Canaries?

You cannot start Soares or Chambers, both of whom have failed to live up to expectations. On the other hand, you cannot start Tomiyasu, ⛦who has yet to arrive🍸 for his first training session.

It is a problem🗹 of the Spaniard’s own making, and one he now has to resolve.

Arteta needs to revert to a back-four and stick to it moving forward or Arsen💟al are in further trouble🐭.
