According to , Arsenal youngster Tyreece John-Jules is set to join Sheffield Wednesday on loan until the end of the season.

The Englishman, now 20, has been a part of Arsenal’s setup since he was eight. He has come through the ranks at Hale End and there has been a lot of excitement around him for a while.

However, injuries have been really cruel on him recently. His loan at Doncaster Rovers last season was hampered with fitness issues, while his spell at Blackpool this term was cut short by Arsenal after he wasn’t given enough chances.

John-Jules, highly rated by Mikel Arteta, is now set for another loan move.

The report claims that Sheffield Wednesday and Arsenal are in advanced talks over a deal that would see John-Jules move to the Hillsborough Stadium on loan until the end of the season.

The Owls are now managed by Darren Moore, who knows the young Arsenal striker very well thanks to their time together at Doncaster last season.

It is claimed that a deal will go through soon barring any late hitches. John-Jules is set to become a Sheffield Wednesday player until the end of the season and it is a great move for all parties involved.

Arteta’s a big fan

Many at Arsenal expected John-Jules to make his debut much before Bukayo Saka did, but that didn’t happen. However, a good loan spell away could boost his chances.

Arteta knows John-Jules well and he is a big fan. The Gunners boss heaped praise on the young attacker back in 2020, calling him a ‘very complete player’ and someone who ‘can do everything’.

He said, as quoted by : “He can do everything. He links really well on the ball every time he’s out of the number nine position.

“He’s got a really good ability to do that. He reads situations earlier than others and he’s a good finisher as well. Physically he’s developed in a really good shape. I think he’s a very complete player.”
