Arsenal willing to pay £77m for ‘incredible’ attacker whose agents have already visited London Colney
Arsenal fans fully expect their club to go out and buy a new striker in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners held their nerve in January as they resisted the temptation to bring a new number nine in.
Since then, Mikel Arteta’s side have gone to the top of the table and are in with a massive chance of winning the Premier League title.
Regardless of if they win the title or not, though, a new striker is still on the cards this summer.
Arsenal willing to pay £77m for striker
Arsenal have been credited with having an interest in a number of strikers over the past few months.
Ivan Toney was one of the main targets but his name seems to be dropping down the list a touch. Viktor Gyokeres is also in the frame after his form with Sporting Lisbon.
Benjamin Sesko is another forward believed to be on the list. Sesko is among the cheaper options potentially available at around the £43m mark this summer.
Of course, one of the top names being linked with Arsenal is Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhen. The forward’s agents have reportedly already visited London Colney.

And according to reports from Italy, Arsenal are willing to pay big money for the Napoli man.
from the Italian newspaper in saying that Osimhen is wanting out of Naples this summer. It’s claimed that all three of Arsenal, Chelsea and PSG would be willing to pay £77m for the Nigerian forward.
Osimhen has a release clause closer to £110m but it’s suggested that Napoli’s owners could accept less.
Victor Osimhen to Arsenal would be a big deal
Osimhen has been one of the most prolific strikers in Europe in recent years. His form even helped Napoli to the Scudetto.
But there will come a time when Osimhen moves on and goes onto one of the very biggest clubs in Europe.
Arsenal are right to get their name in the mix for the ‘‘ striker. Osimhen’s ability to run in behind from the number nine position would give Arsenal a completely new dimension to their style of play.
Whether or not that can offer the right package to convince club and player, remains to be seen.
But if Arsenal can win the race for Osimhen, it sends a big message out to the rest of the league that they are here to stay.
