Arsenal are considering offering Julian Draxler a pre-contract deal for the summer, that they may then attempt to bring him in this month.
Gunners fans may be tempted to roll their eyes when seeing the club linked with Draxler this month. The Germany international is one of those players who seems to be in contention for a Premier League move in almost every window.

Draxler – who earns £120,000-a-week, – has been a peripheral figure for Paris Saint-Germain this term. He has made just five starts in Ligue 1, with a further six appearances coming from the bench.
, PSG will not stand in his way if he wants to leave. His contract expires in the summer and is now in talks with a number of clubs.

And it is reported that Arsenal are one of the teams considering him. It is suggested that the Gunners have held discussions with his representatives.
The report from 90min claims that Mikel Arteta’s men could look to agree a pre-contract deal with the 27-year-old. And should they manage it, they will then look to get him to the Emirates this month.
TBR View: Arsenal fans may welcome conflicting report
It must be noted that another report is offering a different view. , Arteta is not interested in Draxler this month – despite his desire to sign a creative midfielder.
And in truth, it would be no surprise if many Arsenal fans were hoping that the club were indeed looking elsewhere.
Draxler’s career has not kicked on as many expected when he burst onto the scene. And he has not made 25 league starts in a single season since playing for Schalke in 2013/14.
On a free transfer, he could be worth the gamble. But the fact that it is arguably a gamble perhaps highlights how Draxler’s stock has fallen.
