Report: Arsenal want to sign 25-goal star to replace Aubameyang
Arsenal have made it known to Lyon that they hold an interest in completing a deal to sign their striker Moussa Dembele,
The 23-year-old is widely viewed as one of Europe’s brightest young talents and he won’t come cheap to any interested party.
Lyon are thought to value their talisman at £73 million and it seems almost certain that Arsenal would have to sell in order to get their man.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could leave the club in the summer. The Gabonese hitman is out of contract in 2021 and Arsenal could be powerless to prevent a sale.
Dembele would be an adequate replacement for the current captain. In 47 games in all competitions during 2019/20 he has found the net on 25 occasions, registering seven assists too.
The man with 25 caps for the France under-21 team signed for Lyon from Celtic in 2018, costing the Ligue 1 outfit just shy of £20 million
Since arriving at the French club he has been sensational; scoring 42 goals in 88 games, setting up 13 further goals along the way.
Losing him would be catastrophic for Lyon but the clutches of the Premier League big boys will undoubtedly turn Dembele’s head.
Arsenal have been in decent form under Mikel Arteta and he will hope to add at least one stellar addition to his squad during the transfer window.
Quality
Dembele is the sort of signing that would excite the Arsenal faithful, especially if Aubameyang leaves.

In an ideal world, they will tempt their star man to stay. At 30, however, he looks desperate for one final crack at the Champions League and the Gunners might not be able to offer that.
The Frenchman is quick, strong and boasts a natural instinct in front of goal, making him the ideal replacement for the current Arsenal striker.
If Arsenal could do a deal during the summer, it’d represent a real coup for the club and for Arteta.
