Report: Arsenal to make offer for talented 22-year-old wanted by Bielsa

Arsenal are making an ambitious attempt to beat a host of big clubs to the signing of Noa Lang,

The Club Brugge forward has been making waves in Belgium. During 2021/22, he has scored three goals and claimed four assists

He has also showcased his versatility. He has played as a centre-forward, on the wing and as a No.10 for the Belgian outfit.

Over the last few days, Lang has made his first two appearances for the Holland team and is set to be a wanted man.

Now, Arsenal are keen to steal a march on their rivals. They are keen to pay £25 million for the player; although Club Brugge want closer to £33 million for his services.

The Gunners are slowly trying to rebuild their squad. It’s fair to say that another winger wouldn’t go amiss, with Lang’s versatility seemingly ideal.

Both Leeds and AC Milan have been mentioned in the mix to sign Lang and Arsenal will have to move quickly.

The Gunners aren’t in European competition this season but they’ll hope to make a return with a strong season during 2021/22.

Signing someone like Lang would certainly help them achieve that objective.

Future star: Lang could be game-changing addition for Arsenal

It might have only been Gibraltar but Pierre van Hooijdonk had high praise for Lang for his Holland showing recently.

He claimed that his style and that should excite Arsenal fans.

The talented youngster is a remarkable prospect and he seemingly fits the ethos of an Arsenal player nicely.

He would compliment a young squad impeccably well, providing an injection of flair that Arsenal perhaps don’t have at the moment.

Lang is a product of the Ajax youth academy and it’s a rarity that they produce sub-standard players.

Arsenal might have to do some negotiating in order to get him. Their valuation could be some way short of Club Brugge’s, to begin with.

If Edu is serious about winning his critics over, however, he’ll move heaven and earth to bring Lang to the Emirates Stadium.
