The central midfielder has been a standout performer in La Liga this season and is set to become a wanted man in the summer.
Rodriguez has a release clause in his contract of nearly £70 million and as a result, he won’t come cheap to any potentially interested parties.
The report claims that Betis might need to sell some of their players in the summer and Rodriguez would certainly raise some substantial cash.
It is also claimed that everything points towards Arsenal attempting to sign the midfielder when the window reopens in around a month’s time.
Arsenal spent a large sum on Thomas Partey during the summer transfer window of 2020 and could chance their arm again 12 months on.
Betis paid just £2 million for the midfielder just over a year ago and they look set to receive a huge profit on the player.
This season the 27-year-old has played 33 times and scored twice for the La Liga side, showcasing his talents throughout the campaign.

Rodriguez would perhaps offer Arsenal something different and he’d arrive with the momentum of a strong campaign with Real Betis.
Arteta might not be able to attract the very best players without European football. Signing Rodriguez could help the Gunners towards a better season next time out, however.
