Report: Arsenal target available for less than £35m; ‘only a matter of time’ before he leaves

Arsenal target Sander Berge is close to leaving Sheffield United and that he could be available for less than £35m.

Arsenal signing Berge could trigger Odegaard return

With Xhaka and Guendouzi close to leaving Arsenal, the Gunners need central midfield recruitments this window. And signing Berge could allow Mikel Arteta’s side to bring Martin Odegaard back to north London for next season.

The Real Madrid playmaker is currently looking likely to remain with the La Liga giants. However, signing an international teammate and friend of his could be a good way of convincing Odegaard to return to Arsenal. that the 22-year-old is open to the idea.

And with Berge now likely to leave Sheffield for a fee lower than his £35m release clause, Arsenal must act fast to swoop in for the Norwegian international.
