Report: Arsenal star Mesut Ozil agrees three-and-a-half-year Fenerbahce deal
that Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil could finally be on his way out of the North London club, having put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half-year deal with Turkish side Fenerbahce.
Ozil, 32, has been ostracised by Arsenal this season. The 92-time Germany international has been left out of the Europa League and Premier League squads by Mikel Arteta – with Arteta stating the decision was a tactical one.
The playmaker, who infamously earns £350,000 a week at Arsenal, is out of contract in the summer and was expected to remain at Arsenal until that deal expires. However, that could be about to change.
The report claims Ozil has agreed a Fenerbahce deal until the summer of 2024. It is believed Arsenal will pay his wages for the first six months, while Ozil will receive a £2.25million signing-on fee and wages of £87,000 a week.

TBR’s view – Is it finally the end of Ozil at Arsenal?
It is a spell that should be looked on favourably by Gunners fans. Ozil starred for Arsenal under Arsene Wenger, and will seemingly leave having surpassed 250 appearances for the club – in which he scored 44 and created 77.
But the last 18 months have been dire for Arsenal supporters, the club itself and Ozil’s image. Numerous times his agent has stated that he will remain until the end of his contract but perhaps a January move has now been agreed.
