Report: Arsenal rivalling Borussia Dortmund for Bundesliga star Moussa Diaby
that Arsenal have made an enquiry to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby, but face competition for the Frenchman’s signature from Bundesliga title chasers Borussia Dortmund.
Diaby, 20, was signed for a bargain £13.5million from Paris Saint-Germain last summer and has since impressed for Leverkusen – having a hand in 13 goals during 27 Leverkusen appearances this season, scoring five and creating eight.
The France Under-21 international has been in excellent form despite playing alongside the likes of Kai Havertz, Kerem Demirbay and many other Leverkusen stars. Diaby played on Monday night during Leverkusen’s 4-1 win over Werder Bremen.
Indeed, Diaby starred, laying on two assists for his club as Havertz took the plaudits for his excellent brace. The report claims Arsenal and Dortmund have made enquiries, but Diaby’s agents have an excellent relationship with Arsenal.

TBR’s view – Diaby would be a stunning Arsenal addition
Indeed, the young Frenchman is perfect for Arsenal’s style of play. Supremely gifted in terms of technique, Diaby is young and is already showing enormous quality. His price tag, though, is likely to be a handsome one.
Arsenal need a winger to play on the opposite flank to Nicolas Pepe and rival Bukayo Saka and Diaby can certainly be that player. It boils down, though, to whether Arsenal can afford him. If they can, it is a no-brainer.
