Report: Arsenal reject £25m Aston Villa bid for ‘unbelievable’ talent
Arsenal have this afternoon rejected a £25 million bid from Aston Villa for Emile Smith Rowe,
The 20-year-old has been linked with a move to Villa Park, although the Gunners are not keen to sell.
Smith Rowe scored seven goals and claimed seven assists during 2020/21 in all competitions.
He failed to make a Premier League appearance until Boxing Day when he helped the Gunners to a 3-1 win over Chelsea.

He went from strength to strength from that point, dazzling the Arsenal supporters with his trickery.
The Gunners hope to keep Smith Rowe and are hoping to extend his current deal which expires in 2023.
It is also claimed that Arsenal have no intention of offloading the Hale End graduate this summer.
Villa have already completed the signing of Emi Buendia this summer – pipping Arsenal to his signature.
Dean Smith is keen to ramp up his attempts to sign new players, although signing Smith Rowe looks off the agenda.
Arsenal will want to strengthen their squad in the summer and losing Smith Rowe would significantly weaken it.
At this stage, it remains to be seen whether or not the Villans will return with another bid for the youngster.
Arsenal can’t afford to lose Smith Rowe to Aston Villa
Villa must be really annoying the Gunners now.
They’ve already landed Buendia from under their noses and are now trying to bolster their No.10 ranks.
It does show some serious ambition from Aston Villa though and they could be an improved side next season.
Arsenal need to focus on keeping their best players and losing Smith Rowe isn’t worth thinking about.

Gary Neville hit the nail on head when discussing Smith Rowe back in January.
He called the youngster during an episode of Monday Night Football, comparing him to Robert Pires.
Fans are already disgruntled at some of the names being mentioned as targets and the club needs to start appeasing them.
Getting Smith Rowe to sign a contract extension is a must and the Gunners need to nip this in the bud quickly.
