Arsenal monitoring Timothy Castagne
The reports that Arsenal are not looking to spend big on bolstering their squad depth this summer. But one area they do hope to improve is at right-back. And one of the players on their radar is Timothy Castagne.

The 27-year-old has featured in all but one of the Foxes’ Premier League games this term. Bu💮t it has been an incredibly disappointing season for Leicester. They go into the final handful of fixtures inside the bottom three in the ꦚPremier League.
But he has made 88 appearances in the competition since movinܫg to the King Power Stadium. So he would certainly bring experience if he did make the switch.
Arsenal have had real success signing players who have proven themselves in the Premier League. And Castagne ticksꦗ that box.
What may not enℱdear him to supporters how๊ever, is that Castagne has previously spoken of his desire to join Tottenham.
In an iꦆnterview in 2020 – in comments ꧑reported by the – he suggested that he was a boyhood Arsenal fan. But he would now rather sign for Spurs.
“I was especially 𓃲a fan when Thierry Henry played for (Arsenal). Now I’m not so much,” he said.
“You have to be honest with yourself. When a team like PSG or Toไttenham come knocking on your door, you can’t say ‘no’.”
The Gunners have come a long, long way since then. And if they make a move this summer, you would imagine that Castagne 🅺would jump at the chance to go.
