Report: Arsenal made loan offer for West Ham’s Felipe Anderson
Arsenal were one of the sides interested in taking Felipe Anderson on loan this summer, that West Ham United have no interest in sanctioning a temporary exit.
Mikel Arteta’s men have been busy during the window. However, many of their signings to date have been made with one eye on the future.

Willian has arrived to bolster the first-team squad. And it appears that the Gunners were interested in taking Anderson from the London Stadium.
, Arsenal wanted the Brazilian on loan for the coming campaign. However, the Hammers are only interested in letting Anderson leave on a permanent basis.

Anderson enjoyed a much more underwhelming second year in the Premier League after impressing in the season following his £36 million move, which could ultimately cost the club £41.5 million ().
He scored nine goals during that first campaign. However, he managed just one in the league last season. In both campaigns, he managed to provide four assists.
He is a player who can play anywhere across the attacking midfield line. So he would have offered Arteta plenty of versatility.
It is little surprise to see the Irons reject Arsenal’s bid. Despite his lacklustre campaign last time out, he is a player capable of brilliance in the final third.
And thus, if they are going to let him leave, West Ham should be looking for the kind of fee that allows David Moyes to reinvest in his squad.
