Report: Arsenal join the race for Wolves star Raul Jimenez
Arsenal have reportedly joined the race for Wolves striker Raul Jimenez. is claiming that the Gunners are considering making a bid for the forward if they lose Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has been linked with a move to Barcelona ().
Jimenez, who cost Wolves £30 million from Benfica (), has been in outstanding form recently. He has scored 19 goals and provided nine assists in all competitions this season and is once again proving he is one of the Premier League’s top strikers.

He has scored more goals than any other Wolves player in the top division and is considered by many as the club’s most important and valuable asset. The 28-year-old has proven his form is not a one-off either. He scored 13 goals in his maiden Premier League season last year and is on course to break that number in this campaign.
The Mexican striker is one of the most clinical forwards in the league and it feels like he just doesn’t miss when presented with a chance in the box. He has built a good understanding with Adama Traore and has been a crucial part of Wolves’ march to sixth place.
TBR view – Jimenez would be perfect for Arsenal, but Martinelli deserves a chance

Jimenez would no doubt be a brilliant replacement for Aubameyang if he made a move elsewhere. He is a proven Premier League goalscorer who will score goals wherever he is playing his football.
However, the Gunners could already have a ready-made replacement for the Gabon international. Gabriel Martinelli has scored two goals in his last two Premier League games and is looking like he could be the real deal. Arteta should put his faith in him if Aubameyang moves on and save the money it would cost to sign Wolves’ star man.
