Arsenal reportedly face a huge challenge in the pursuit of a player who has been deemed ‘the next Luis Suarez’ and even ‘the new Lionel Messi’.
The Gunners are thought to be among the clubs interested in signing Velez Sarsfield prodigy Thiago Almada this summer, according to .
The 19-year-old has been thoroughly impressive in his native Argentina and appears to have caught the attention of multiple elite clubs.

As well as Arsenal, Almada is thought to be on the radar of Manchester City and Atletico Madrid.
However, claims that Manchester United have now initiated contact to sign Almada ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
The report adds that the tenacious midfielder has a release clause of £22million in his contract but United are hoping to strike a deal closer to £16million instead.
