Report: Arsenal eye Crystal Palace defender Tyrick Mitchell
Arsenal are being linked with a move for defender Tyrick Mitchell from London and Premier League rivals Crystal Palace.
, Arsenal are currently scouting a number of left-backs to try find competition for Kieran Tierney.
It is explained that Palace’s youngster is one of the players that the Gunners are watching.
The report adds that Arsenal are joined by other top-flight clubs in England to look at the 21-year-old.
Mitchell, who earns at Selhurst Park, has managed to make a breakthrough from the Palace academy into their first team.
He is an attack-minded left-back that has played in 11 senior games across all competitions this season, with 10 coming in the Premier League.

TBR’s View:
The Evening Standard’s report suggests Southampton’s 31-year-old Ryan Bertrand as another left-back target for Arsenal, but the Palace rising star surely looks a far more attractive option.
Tierney appears to have the left-back position nailed down at the Emirates Stadium for the foreseeable future, so his understudy should be a youngster that will continue to improve and perhaps challenge him in the long run.
Mitchell has only had a brief taste in senior football, but hasn’t looked out of place in the slightest.
He’s tenacious defensively in one-on-one scenarios, drawing comparisons with Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and offers a lot going forward with his pace and crossing.
