Report: Arsenal are very close to announcing a deal for Layvin Kurzawa

thaℱt Arsenal are ‘very close’ to announcing a deal for Paris Saint-Germain left-back Layvin Kurzawa on a free transfer – in what ༒will be a huge five-year deal.

Kurzawa, 27, is out of contract at the end of the season and is due to leave Paris Saint-Germain in the coming months – with Spanish ace Juan Bernat becoming first choice under the guidance of German manager Th𒊎omas Tuchel.

Arsenal came close to signing Kurza💯wa in the January window, but it appears that they have waited until the summer to net the 13-time France internat🗹ional. The report claims an announcement is ‘very close’, and that he will sign a contract until 2025.

That is, despite Liverpool had joined the race for Kurzawa given thﷺat the Reds need competition for Andy Robertson. But it appears Kurzawa has chosen north London over a move to Merseyside.

TBR’s view – Kurzawa signing surely ends Sead Kolasinac future?

Arsenal already have Kieran Tierney and Sead Kolasinac as options on the left side of defence, while youngster Bukayo Saka can also do a job on the l🍷eft side of the hotel room – though Saka is naturally a win꧂ger.

On a free transfer, Kurzawa is a stunning signing – though he is somewhat faltering in terms of his early potential. If Arteta can br♍ing the best out of the Frenchman, they could have one of the best left-sided defenders in Europe on their hands.
