Report: Arsenal are now able to outbid Barcelona to sign ‘phenomenal’ Premier League player
Arsenal and Barcelona are among the clubs ready to battle to sign winger Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace.
The claim that Chelsea and Juventus are also keen on the Selhurst Park talisman, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
If Zaha does not sign a new deal between now and the start of 2023, he can discuss a pre-contract move with foreign clubs in January.
That could give Barca and Juve an advantage, and both are well-versed in getting high-profile free transfers done.

Arsenal could outbid Barcelona for Zaha
But the report says that Arsenal could offer Zaha higher wages than what Barcelona could, and their financial difficulties are well-known.
That could be crucial in a deal where no transfer would be involved if Zaha runs his contract right down, and the race looks all set to heat up.
Barcelona and Juventus do not have Champions League football to offer for the rest of the season, although will hope to be back dining at that top table – and so will Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta is a big admirer of Zaha, who has an uncertain contract situation, as per .
“I think he’s a terrific player and I think the impact he’s had in the Premier League in the last few years has been phenomenal,” Arteta in January 2020.
“His ability to create chances on his own is unique. We know Wilf and the type of talent he is.
“When he gets isolated in one-on-one situations, we know what he can do.”
