Report: Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur now scouting 19-year-old who has already bested Neymar one-on-one
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have both sent scouts to watch exciting Lyon right-back Malo Gusto.
Gusto has had a meteoric rise at the French club notorious for producing fantastic young talent.
Gusto made his debut as a 17-year-old under Rudi Garcia, and has been a member of the first-team squad ever since.

Last season, Gusto started more than half of Lyon’s league matches, deputising for French international and club captain Leo Dubois.
Lyon were so impressed with Gusto that they were happy to sell Dubois to Galatasaray this summer.
The 19-year-old has stepped up in his place and is now attracting interest from across Europe.
Arsenal and Tottenham are among the teams that have taken notice and sent scouts to watch Gusto play.
Arsenal and Tottenham scouting Gusto
It’s understandable to see why both clubs are interested in Gusto.
Last season, Gusto came up head-to-head with Neymar when Lyon played PSG.
‘was generally considered to have had the better of their head to head duel’ despite giving away a penalty.
Arsenal are building one of the most exciting young squads in Europe right now.
Gusto would fit Mikel Arteta’s ethos of signing players capable of already performing at the highest level with the potential to get even better.
Arteta has been playing Ben White out of position at right-back this season.
Gusto would allow him to move into the centre of the park and provide more competition for Takehiro Tomiyasu.

For Tottenham, Gusto would be Antonio Conte’s fourth right-back.
However, he’s expressed his concerns with some of his current options in the position.
We’ve yet to see Djed Spence given an opportunity by Conte, and Matt Doherty has only just returned to the fold.
Spurs are waiting for Destiny Udogie to return from his loan spell to play on the left.
Gusto would balance the team out as a more conservative full-back on the right.
Arsenal and Tottenham scouting Gusto is no surprise given his vast potential.
Winning the race to sign the Frenchman when there are so many eyes on him will be a harder challenge.
