Report: Arsenal and Chelsea scout Feyenoord teenager Marouan Azarkan

Arsenal and Chelsea will rival two German clubs for Marouan Azarkan. , Arsenal and Chelsea have both scouted Azarkan in action.

The Feyenoord winger has been with the Dutch club’s first-team in pre-season after impressing in the youth sides. This has alerted the attention of numerous clubs across Europe, including Arsenal and Chelsea.

Both of the London clubs had scouts present to watch the 17-year-old in action in a youth tournament in Croatia. But German pair Schalke and Werder Bremen are also keen and could firm up their interest with a concrete offer.

Feyenoord want to keep the talented teenager and he is tied down until 2021. However, there is a feeling that he would be available for a six-figure sum. This would not put any of the four aforementioned teams off.

Azarkan has caught the eye for Feyenoord’s youth teams. , the Holland U18 winger has scored once in two games for the U21 team, 10 times in 29 games for the U19s and 13 times in 32 games for the U17s. This could earn him a move abroad.

Azarkan is clearly a talented young player who could become a star of the future. The Dutchman is a left-winger by trade but he has an eye for goal and a scoring rate that a striker would be proud of.

After showing how prolific he can be at youth level for club and country, it is no surprise to see clubs after Azarkan.
